To further enhance the services, the Joint Office for investigation of reports on water seepage in buildings set up by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and the Buildings Department, announced that starting from today (September 19), after the completion of Stage I investigation, the Stage II initial investigation and Stage III professional investigation, which were originally to be conducted sequentially, will now be carried out in parallel in four trial districts, namely Wong Tai Sin, North, Yuen Long and Islands Districts, in a bid to shorten the time taken for investigations.
